Research interests

Interested in Intergenerational Learning in third level education. Research interests include evaluating the benefits of a stimulated mind in aging and evaluating the benefits of   teaching and learning opportunities for older people in early and later retirement in higher education Research interests also include evaluating the benefits of  the reciprocal transfer of  knowledge, competences and skills shared between older and younger people; shared mentoring and tutoring support  and  evaluating the benefits of dialogue and engagement shared between older people and  third level students in formal and informal teaching, learning and research opportunities in higher education. This is inclusive of digital literacy skills and  social media knowledge and information benefical for all generations.
