In 2008, was awarded a research fellowship (£71,651) under the ERSC researcher placement scheme.  This scheme is jointly funded by the ESRC and a partner organisation (a government dept) aims to promote knowledge transfer between academic depts and partner organisations.

OFMdFM are the partner host organisation for the 9 month placement from September 08.  Working with Dr Stephen Donnelly, head of OFMdFM Research Branch on the approach to be taken by government to promote and support the inclusion of older people in NI.  This project will contribute to the ESRC's 'New Dynamics of Aging Programme' which is directed by Professor Alan Walker.
