  • Investigating ways of healthy ageing of which the Centre of Excellence for Public Health, QUB is a member.
  • The aim of CHANCES is to develop recommendations for healthy ageing and well being, to optimize the economic impact of the ageing process and its health implications and to establish policies at European and National level. The project will investigate the relationships between socio-economic, genetic, and lifestyle related factors on four major groups of chronic diseases (cancer, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes, osteoporosis and fractures, and cognitive function and dementia-related disorders).
