Worth fighting for: ten true stories of age discriminationToo many older people receive poor treatment just because of their age. The time has come to live in the 21st century and root out ageism everywhere.
Too many older people have to put up with a lower standard of care or service just because they are a certain age. Sometimes it can be hard to spot, but the problem is real.
In a great step forward for the Just Equal Treatment campaign, the Government has pledged to ban age discrimination in the provision of goods and services. But it has not said when this will happen. Older people deserve this legislation to be passed as soon as possible.
