researchThe structure of this report follows the format of the Conference. It begins with the Opening Address by Mr Ivor Callely, TD, Minister for Services for Older People. The Conference presentations, which took place across three sessions, follow.
The Opening Session included presentations on:
• a framework and context for the development of day services
• findings from a study commissioned by the NCAOP into day service provision
• a health board and a voluntary service provider perspective on the study findings
• the comments and recommendations of the NCAOP arising from the study.
