The Role and Future Development of Day ServicesDay services are a significant part of the provision of care for older people and have been so for many years. Voluntary organisations in partnership with statutory services have played a significant role and the contribution made by everyone involved is appreciated and should be applauded. However, service provision, like life, does not stand still. The evolution of human services coupled with the human desire to develop and improve is heralding new thinking and new ideas.
