Social security in an ageing world
The International Social Security Association [ISSA] is the world’s leading international organisation bringing together national social security administrations and agencies. The ISSA provides information, research, expert advice and platforms for members to build and promote dynamic social security systems and policy worldwide.
Recently ISSA partnered with the Oxford Institute on Ageing to produce a paper on the challenges and opportunities facing countries around the world due to the ageing population, especially as it relates to social security systems. The white paper includes key policy lessons to take into consideration as governments review their systems. The paper is available below:
