Professional Guidance for Nurses working with Older People has been published by An Bord Altranais and was launched (May 26 2009) at the Annual National Conference entitled Caring for and about the Older Person: Professional Guidance for Nursing Care.
The guidance document has been developed for nurses in all healthcare settings where the older person is cared for. It is also intended as a source of information for the public by detailing for them the nursing care they are entitled to and should expect to receive. The guidance document will be sent to all nurses with the Summer edition of the Newsletter (Mid June).
