Age Concern Help the Aged NI is pleased to submit this report to the Office of the First and Deputy First Minister (OFMdFM) on the occasion of a review of Ageing in an Inclusive Society. Previously, as the legacy charities Age Concern Northern Ireland and Help the Aged in Northern Ireland,we participated in the development of Ageing in an Inclusive Society prior to its launch in March 2005 and at that time expressed concerns about the final version of the strategy and the absence of targets for the actions and objectives within it.
