Planning for end of life
If you have requested this booklet, you are probably interested in knowing more about the decisions facing
you regarding end of life care. You may regard yourself as being in an advanced stage of Parkinson’s disease; you may have other life-threatening conditions or just feel that you have reached the point in your journey when you want to know more about end of life care options.
Although Parkinson’s disease itself is not a terminal condition, it is a progressive, neurological disorder for which there is currently no known cure. At some point in our lives we realise that death is inescapable sooner or later. If you don’t want to think or talk any further about this matter, please put the booklet aside now.
