Pakistan: A Survey Report on Ageing
HEAVEN (Human Echo, Affairs and Values of Eastern Nations), an NGO based in Pakistan, conducted a survey on ageing in April 2011 by interviewing a total of 250 persons ages 60 and over in five marginalized communities in Lahore. Their report includes figures, percentages and graphic representing the answers of the respondents. The whole survey aims to help everybody, in particular family members, governments and organisations, to better understand the poor conditions of living of the older people. Moreover, it gives some basic recommendations to improve these conditions in a near future.
