The National Council on the Forum on End of Life in Ireland has recently been established arising out of the Forum on End of Life which consisted of a large number of public discussions and workshops. Mrs. Justice Catherine McGuinness will chair the new Council which will carry forward this work.
A report has been compiled by Bob Carroll, former Director of the National Council on Ageing and Older People, from the written submissions, comments made at the public meetings and workshops, and from workshop presentations

Draft Action Plan
Bob Carroll has also completed the Draft Action Plan which will serve as the draft work plan for the newly established National Council on the Forum of End of Life in Ireland.
Questionnaire
The Draft Action Plan and the accompanying questionnaire are both available online at www.endoflife.ie. The results will be used to shape the work plan of the National Council.
