Improving the Patient & Client experience
Overviw of publication
This document has been produced by the Department of Health and Public Safety, The Northern Ireland Practice and Education Council (NIPEC) and the Royal College of Nursing NI. Its aim is to improve the patient and client experience in NI. It identifies 5 standards to be implemented and embedded into public service care provision and systems. These standards were developed through a consultation process with key stakeholders in NI. Stakeholders also provided information on how they should be implemented at a local level to achieve optimum results. Ongoing monitoring and improving standards is also recommended and should be mainstreamed across all areas of organisations involved.
