CARDI has published a new resource Health Structures in Ireland, North and South which provides an overview of the workings of the Department of Health Social Services and Public Safety (DHSS&PS) in Northern Ireland and the Department of Health and Children (DoHC) in the Republic of Ireland. It outlines each department’s distinctive structures and policy drivers and aims to promote a better understanding of how the two systems operate. The guide should prove useful to those working in the areas of ageing research, advocacy and policy provision who may seek to interact with these systems.
