Reduced prices for training in age issues
Advice NI is offering big discounts on its accredited Older Person Adviser Course, developed in partnership with Age Concern Help the Aged NI and Access to Benefits (A2B). The first module begins on Wednesday 17 February 2010.
The course has six modules, with two sessions per module, covering age awareness, benefits, the State Retirement Pension, human rights and services, community care and housing, all with a focus on older people.
The fee for the entire course, which includes accreditation at Open College Network Level 3, is £375 for advice NI members, £470 for the voluntary and community sector and £625 for the statutory and private sectors. People can also do one module (over two days) for £90 for members of Advice NI, £115 for the voluntary and community sector and £150 for statutory and private sectors.
