National Positive Ageing Strategy Consultation Roadshow Continues
The National Positive Ageing Strategy consultation roadshow is continuing around the country. The roadshow announced by The Minister for Older People and Health Promotion, Áine Brady TD in February aims to hear at first hand the views of older people on issues that affect them. These meetings are part of the Government’s work to develop the National Positive Ageing Strategy which is a long-term plan for making Ireland a better place in which to grow older. The upcoming dates are: April 19 – Westgrove Hotel, Clane, Co. Kildare – 2pm to 4pm (registration from 1.15 pm); April 26 – Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford – 2pm to 4pm (registration from 1.15 pm); May 4 – Desmond Complex, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick - 2.30p – 4.30 pm (registration from 1.30 pm)
