Minister Hoctor addresses the National Council Meeting of Active Retirement Ireland
Máire Hoctor, TD, Minister for Older People, today (28th October 2008) addressed the National Council Meeting of Active Retirement Ireland.
Speaking at the event, Minister Hoctor said“Active retirement groups such as Active Retirement Ireland, foster and facilitate participation by providing a range of social and cultural activities, tailored to the needs and tastes of their members. Active Retirement Ireland has been a driving force in working to achieve a better quality of life for older people throughout Ireland”.
Minister Hoctor added“I look forward to continuing to work on your behalf in the future to ensure that Ireland remains an equitable and fulfilling country to live in as we age with dignity and purpose”.
