The Irish Gerontological Society's A.G.M. for 2012 will be in Cork on the Friday 14th and Saturday 15th September 2012. This meeting is the 60th Annual Conference of the IGS. The society is one of the oldest societies in the world devoted to the study of ageing. A great strength of the society is the fact that it is multidisciplinary and every year it has a very strong submission of research from Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers and Therapists. It is critically important that all members of the Society submit a number of abstracts on their current work.
The closing date for abstracts is the 27th May 2012. For more information visit
