Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer among men in Ireland, north and south, and this group will try to find out why older men are less likely to receive treatment than younger ones and whether this affects survival rates.

Objectives: Include investigating variations in treatment 1996-2006 and how clinical factors vary with age in men with prostate cancer to see whether the relationship between age and likelihood of treatment persists after other factors have been taken into account.
