CARDI Grant Programme
New funding from CARDI will boost research on older people
The CARDI Grants Programme Call 3 is now open!
Information and forms relating to Call 3:
The Centre for Ageing Research and Development in Ireland (CARDI) is delighted to open Call 3 of its grants programme on Wednesday 3rd March 2010.
Anybody seeking funding must submit the two-page summary (the PAR8 form) by noon on Wednesday 7 April 2010.
The full application form will only be available through email, and sent to those who submit a PAR8.
The deadline for completed applications is noon on Monday 24 May 2010.
It is inviting applications for grants to fund cross-border and inter-disciplinary research and to create networks of academics with the public, private and voluntary sectors to examine issues arising out of an ageing society in Ireland, north and south.
Call 3 will focus our resources on research that concentrates on the priority issues relating to ageing and older people in Ireland.
Funding of up to €100,000 will be available for individual research projects. It is CARDI’s intention to disburse approximately €300,000.
More information about the terms of reference and application forms, can be accessed via email info@cardi.ie
If you would like a briefing meeting on your campus or for your organisation, we will be happy to make a presentation and answer questions. We are particularly interested in meetings involving people from different disciplines and sectors (eg academic, statutory, voluntary and community). Please email info@cardi.ie or ring our Belfast office: 0044 28 9069 0066.
Remember, if you haven’t already done so, you can register your research activities and interests by clicking here.
