Workshop on developing successful national cancer control
Together with the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport of the Netherlands, the WHO Regional Office for Europe will host a workshop aimed at informing and empowering participants to improve their National Cancer Control Programmes.
Ministry of Health officials from selected countries, representatives from NGOs and oncology institutes, WHO Collaborating Centres, WHO staff and international experts will come together for two and a half days to understand what constitutes a successful national cancer control programme, share experiences and strengthen approaches to cancer prevention and control. Participants will also receive an overview of available tools for setting up such a programme. Participation at the workshop is by invitation only.
