Title: Workshop: Managing Together, understanding and supporting children, young people and their families when a grandparent has dementia.
We are writing to you to let you know about a forthcoming one day workshop entitled "Managing Together, Understanding and Supporting Children, Young People and their Families when a Grandparent is affected by Dementia" which will be held on the 24th of September 2009
Venue: Oxford Institute of Ageing, University of Oxford
This workshop is open to Health and Social Care Professionals, Researchers and Educationalists. This workshop seeks to offer participants the opportunity to learn about recent European research and practice development in this emerging field and consider the ways in which this research can be applied to develop practice with children and young people and their families where they are affected by dementia. Furthermore, it seeks to identify future research agendas and create opportunities to build networks for those interested in developing this body of knowledge and practice.
While attendance at this workshop is free of charge, you will need to register for attendance.
