Unltd Funding workshop on Over 50s Programme : 22 June 2010, Belfast
Unltd Over 50’s Award was launched in April 2010, and will run for the next 3 years. We aim to actively engage older people in identifying and developing entrepreneurial solutions to social problems and issues in their communities.
Unltd will award 115 Catalyst Awards with funding available from £500 to £5000. Award winners will receive mentoring, training and one to one support and have the opportunity to network with older social entrepreneurs.
A smaller number of Development Awards will be available to 6 individuals through open competition for experienced social entrepreneurs who want to further develop or replicate their projects. Development Awards attract £15,000 funding and intensive business and mentoring support.
Who Should Attend:
Over 50’s who are living in Northern Ireland, who wish to apply for an award.
Over 50’s who would like to apply as an individual or an informal group.
Any community or development workers who can help us promote the programme in their area/Members of Older People’s Groups, Age Sector Organisations or Forums who are interested in our work.
As there are opportunities for intergenerational projects, workers within this sector could also benefit.
