Universal Design in Legislation, Policy and Practice
The Centre for Excellence in Universal Design invites you to the seminar "Universal Design in Legislation, Policy and Practice".

In the morning plenary sessions participants will hear from senior legislators and key experts from Japan, Norway, Spain and the USA on experiences of implementing Universal Design in legislation and policy. The afternoon intensive workshops will give participants the opportunity to explore more deeply the benefits and challenges of a Universal Design approach in the domains of the built environment, eGovernment and local government.
This seminar will be opened by Minister John Moloney T.D. and will be of interest to policy makers in Government Departments, to local authorities, to other public bodies, to those who design or commission buildings, services or products, to relevant professional and educational bodies and those involved in enterprise and industry.
