UK Older People's Day and UN International Day of Older People

Details: This is the second national older people's day in the UK and will focus on inter-generational work. The date kick-starts a co-ordinated programme of events nationwide throughout October. The UK focus this year is intergenerational work with the Beth Johnson Foundation commissioned by the Department for Work and Pensions to develop information packs for schools and older people's organisations around activities for the day.
