TRY IT – Free Technology event for over 50s
This is the Second year of this popular event - A Date for your diary!
Come to our FREE Technology event
When: Tuesday 8th November 2011
Where: The Central Hotel, Exchequer Street (between George’s Street and Wicklow Street)
Time: Drop in anytime from 10am to 4pm. No need to book, just come along at whatever time you wish on the day. The free talks will be on an hourly basis.
What’s happening on the day?
- We will have an area with stands from technology companies such as RTÉ, Saorview, Google, Age Action, Dublin City Council, ComReg, Canon Cameras, National Archive etc to show you how to use their services and products and learn more about technology from them.
- We will also have another area where we will have FREE talks from experts explaining to you what twitter, facebook, google maps, youtube is all about and also how to search for your ancestors online. There will be a questions and answers sessions like last year after each event.
- You can sign up for one of our computer classes in Dublin at the Age Action stand on the day.
