Sharing good practice in local dementia services

This conference will look at how to develop effective services locally that will meet the needs of users and carers. It will explore how integrated, community-based support can ensure people living with dementia retain their dignity and independence.
The focus of the day will be on sharing new ideas and best practice in the design of local services. There will be plenty of opportunities for delegates to network and participate in discussions, in workshop sessions and throughout the day.

It is estimated that currently there are 700,000 cases of dementia in the UK but there will be over a million people with dementia by 2025. The provision of dementia services is therefore an increasing pressure on health and social care services locally.
