We’ve lined up a dynamic group of speakers who will evaluate the role of phytochemicals in cancer prevention and treatment. What issues need to be considered when identifying bioactive herbs and spices? What are the possible effects of ginseng on colorectal cancer? How can apples and apple juice aid in cancer prevention?

I hope you can join us for what promises to be a fascinating discussion of the role of phytochemicals in the prevention and treatment of cancer. This session will be chaired by Judith K. Christman, PhD, of the University of Nebraska.

This year’s conference features a wide range of topics of vital interest to the research community, dietitians, and anyone involved with efforts to prevent, treat and survive cancer:

  • Intervention trials in diet and cancer
  • Phytochemicals in herbs, spices and fruits: role in cancer prevention and treatment
  • Nutrition, health behaviors and cancer survivorship
  • Implications of bioenergetics
  • From policy to action in cancer prevention
  • Physical activity in cancer prevention and control

Please join us at what has become the premier scientific form on diet, physical activity, weight management as they relate to cancer prevention, treatment and survival.
