Progress – Advancing Parkinson’s Research Conference programme
The Parkinson's Disease Society will be hosting its first conference dedicated to showcasing the work of up-and-coming Parkinson's researchers at the Royal York Hotel in York on 3 and 4 November 2008.
'Progress, Advancing Parkinson's Research' will bring together leading scientists, researchers and other professionals to share news, opinions and debate.
Keynote speakers over the two days will be:
- Professor Jeffrey H Kordower from Chicago, who will be speaking about the latest in gene therapy
- Dr Bastiaan R Bloem from the Netherlands, whose specialist area is movement problems
- Professor Olivier Rascol from Toulouse, who will discuss new drug therapies
Places for the conference have all been taken but abstracts will be available to download from this website during the conference on 3 and 4 November.
