Aim: To focus on end of life issues for people with dementia including terminal care and national standards in this area. It will also consider the issues of pain in people with dementia, including assessment and management.
Suitable for: Doctors, nurses, social workers, Allied Health Professionals, professionally qualified care home staff and managers, as well as those who commission and inspect services. This is an ideal opportunity to update on the issues and to become aware of best practice initiatives.
