The NILS Research Forum has been funded for three years by HSC R&D to provide an arena in which current researchers can discuss data issues, methodology and results; to demonstrate to the public and voluntary sectors the potential of the NILS; to develop the skills of existing users in the technical analysis of longitudinal data. Professor Dearden is Centre Director, ADMIN (Administrative Data: Methods, Inference and Network) and has published extensively using longitudinal data. The lecture should be of interest to academic researchers, policy analysts and those responsible for the provision of government data.
