Northern Ireland Longitudinal Study Research Forum: Research Seminar 2007 NILS projects researchers
When: 11am on Friday, 11 March 2011
Where: Boardroom, NISRA, Castle Street, Belfast
In 2007 the ESRC and HSC RDO jointly funded a series of projects to
demonstrate the potential of the NILS. The results from some of these
projects will be outlined in a series of six short presentations. The subjects are
extremely varied, including: the determinants of self reported health, the
utilisation of dental services, migration, the characteristics of lone parents and
fertility. The presentations will underline the potential of the NILS for those
involved in public policy and academic researchers.
If you wish to put your name down for a workshop, please email Sharon
McKee at s.mckee@ulster.ac.uk as soon as possible, giving the date and title
of the particular workshop. This will allow the level of demand to be
established.
The above represent the program of activities as it stands at the moment. If
you would like to contribute in any way yourself or have any suggestions
concerning future speakers or workshops please send them to Pat McGregor
at ppl.mcgregor@ulster.ac.uk .
