This free event, supported by the University of Ulster, forms part of the launch of this new practice guide. The publication provides practical examples of how technology can be used to assist people with dementia to live safely in their own homes for longer. The book uses colour images and case studies to illustrate the practical uses of assistive technology in the home. It has been designed in a format to enable the content to form part of an education programme for staff who, through their work, are engaged in using technologies.

We are delighted that the editor, Suzanne Martin, Lecturer in Occupational Therapy, University of Ulster, will take part in this event. The event is relevant to all sectors and attendees will receive a free copy of the publication.
