The aim of Our Lady’s Hospice Limited annual palliative care conference, ‘Moving Points in Palliative Care’ is to highlight current multidisciplinary information, linking palliative care with specific populations, disciplines and services. The dissemination of information and education is recognized as a core component of specialist palliative care.
· Moving Points in Palliative Care 2008 - ‘Challenging Times Ahead’
will explore evolving health service trends relative to promoting quality palliative care for all who need it, when and where required.
· Key topics will include: determining need, rational planning and resource allocation, embracing opportunity, achieving goals, and therapeutic
interventions.
This conference is intended for an international audience of service planners, physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare providers involved in the delivery of palliative care for people with advanced and life-threatening illnesses.
