More than a number - the future of ageing and social care
On Wednesday 16 December at 15:00 (GMT) the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) is broadcasting a webcast debate entitled More than a number - the future of ageing and social care. The webcast will address a range of questions, including:
What are the real costs of caring for an ageing population?
How ready are we as a society for the massive increase required to social care infrastructure?
Which policies should governments be putting in place now to secure the future of care?
The webcast follows on from a recent report by the EIU 'Healthcare strategies for an ageing society'. IGS President and President Elect of the European Union Geriatric Medical Society, Professor Des O’Neill, will be participating as a panelist and you are invited to submit questions for discussion in advance of the webcast.
