Information Sessions on CARDI’s Ageing Research Grant Programme (University College Cork)
The Centre for Ageing Research and Development in Ireland (CARDI) is delivering a series of information and ‘question and answer’ meetings across Ireland, north and south, in August and September on its grants programme.
We are inviting applications for grants to fund cross-border and inter-disciplinary research and to create networks of academics with the public, private and voluntary sectors.
The first briefing meeting of Call 2 is to be held at Queen’s in early August .CARDI hopes that additional meetings will be arranged in other venues so keep an eye on the website for your nearest meeting.
University College Cork,
Tuesday 25 August at 2pm,
Venue: Brookfield Health Science Centre, Room 225.
If you would like a briefing meeting on your campus or for your organisation, we will be happy to make a presentation and answer questions. We are particularly interested in meetings involving people from different disciplines and sectors (e.g. academic, statutory, voluntary and community).
CARDI will be allocating €300,000 to Call 2, which closes on 2nd October 2009.
More information about the grants, including the terms of reference, suggested background reading material and an online application form can be found at: www.cardi.ie/grantprogramme.
