The Royal Institute of Architects in Ireland will host an event entitled Independent Living and Design for our Ageing Population on Monday 6th December, 2010 at Wood Quay Venue, Dublin.
The intention of the seminar is to consider design strategies for an ageing population and to focus attention on; Improving the quality of life of older people by influencing the design of integrated housing, healthcare and accessible environments; Challenging the perceptions of housing for older people; Raising awareness of the possibilities that innovative design and ICT can offer; Drawing inspiration from both Irish and international examples
