This important conference is aimed at all health, social care and legal professionals with interests in the care of older people. It will also be of interest to voluntary agencies, patient groups and those involved in advocacy for vulnerable adults. A broad range of topics will be covered by expert speakers with backgrounds in government, social policy, old age medicine, law and ethics. Particular emphasis will be placed on human rights, equity, resource allocation, dignity, research and mental capacity. Delegates will be given ample opportunity to both update their knowledge and engage in discussion with speakers, raising debate at a national level.
