Essential Palliative Care distance learning course for allied health professionals
Commencing on Tuesday, 13th January 2009, this course is aimed at allied health professionals working in a hospital, nursing home, hospice or community setting, and who have direct contact with patients requiring a palliative care approach. Places are limited to 40.
The course has been developed by Northern Ireland Hospice and is being delivered in association with Milford Care Centre, Limerick, with the support of the Hospice Friendly Hospitals Programme (HfH) and the Irish Hospice Foundation.
Attendance is required at an introductory evening session in Belfast, Limerick or via the Web; and again on the final assessment day in Belfast or Limerick.
