Outline
This presentation will explore the nature and meaning of relationships with people with dementia. In particular it will focus on the relationships between people with dementia and (professional) care workers. The presentation will rise above the debate between person-centred and relationship-centred care and instead argue that what we need are cultures that nurture relationships of all kinds, enhance personhood and enable all persons to flourish and thrive.
