Aim: Communication is the key to understanding people with dementia. This course presents a practical approach to support staff to get it right more of the time. Assessment tends to focus on losses but there is a need for assessments that is affirming and which focuses on strengths and abilities.
Suitable for: Social workers, nurses, care home managers and workers, home care managers, allied health professionals, ambulance personnel, care managers and medical staff.
