On the day talk to us about:

Collaborative research and innovation projects for Ambient Assisted Living - enhancing the quality of life of older people and through the use of Information and Communication Technologies, and the Silver Market - generally considered to be consumers over the age of 50.

Existing research projects and our multi-tiered testbed and how you might leverage that knowledge, expertise and resources.

Also, why not take the time out to see:

Great Northern Haven, a new housing model for older people, recently featured on RTE News and described as "the most modern hi-tech apartments in Ireland specifically for older people". This development of 16 living apartments features a wide range of innovations, including state-of-the-art ambient assisted living technologies and facilities to operate pilots for future developments and retrofits.

The C.A.V.E. (Cave Automatic Virtual Environment) is an immersive virtual reality environment. It offers a multi-person, room-sized, high-resolution 3D video and audio environment. As the user moves within the display boundaries, the correct perspective is displayed in real-time to achieve a fully immersive experience.
