Care of the Elderly Workshop
The BMA(NI) is developing a ‘Care of the Elderly’ policy, and invites representatives from voluntary and community sector organisations, who are willing to act as advocates on behalf of their stakeholders to this workshop.

The objectives of the workshop are:
- To determine current issues and opinion with regard to elderly care
- To establish what elderly care should consist of in the future
In addition to this workshop, the BMA(NI) is seeking to establish a Patient Liaison Network to ensure that its policy development process takes into consideration an informed patient view on healthcare. This will be done through workshops and consultation.
