Best Practice Dementia Project Course dates
Best Practice Dementia Project
Course dates: Northern Ireland 25 & 26 January; Stirling 18& 19 February
These innovative supported distance learning courses enable your facilitators to cascade their training in dementia to up to eight of your healthcare assistants in the workplace over the following six months.
During the formal course days, DSDC trains facilitators in the use of materials and how to support learners. This means that the cost of training is reduced and you benefit from your team being fully involved in putting the training into action.
And DSDC continues to support your facilitators throughout the six month programme - we are just a call or an email away.
Staff at Muirton House Care Home in Blairgowrie, Perthshire successfully completed their training recently, here shown with their facilitator Katherine Russell (back row, third from left).
To benefit from this unique and RCN accredited approach to work-based training in both Stirling and Belfast, please contact Shirley Law, Project Manager on 01786 467740 or email shirley.law@stir.ac.uk (Stirling); Maria McManus on 02890 737846 or email maria.mcmanus@stir.ac.uk (Belfast).
