NICVA and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation are holding this seminar on 9 September 2009 at NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast to look at the following reports:
- Poverty in the media - being seen and getting heard [St Chads, Durham University]
- Building public support for UK poverty eradication [Cambridge Policy Consultant]
Both these reports pull together experience of over a hundred UK organisations and discuss what has worked, challenges faced and gaps that we need to address in the future to address the lack of public understanding about poverty in the UK - its existence, causes and solutions.
