KT-Equal will host a two day event entitled "Assistive technology: technology transfer" on 4 October 2010 10:15 to 05 October 2010 15:45 at St Mary's Conference Centre, Sheffield.

The headline theme of the meeting is 'The social model for Assistive Technology-technology transfer (AT-tt)'. The social model here is one that assumes that the development of AT is something that has to be driven by the goal of achieving an inclusive society – and so there are moral, financial, business and scientific issues to understand and manage.
