An age old problem - where now for rural services?

Featuring keynote speaker Norah Keating, Co-Director of Research on Aging, Policies and Practice, Department of Human Ecology, University of Alberta, Canada. 

The third event in CARDI's Older People and the Recession Seminar Series will focus on ageing in rural Ireland. The event will examine the provision of services for older rural dwellers as the recession bites and budget cuts loom. The seminar will feature findings from a CARDI funded research projects exploring the issues of rural transport for older people and healthy ageing in rural communities.
