09/07/2008 - 16:30

Fresh from a gathering of the world's most respected ageing researchers at Oriel College Oxford, Dr Richard Faragher, SPARC Director and an advisor to Research into Ageing, the biomedical arm of Help the Aged will take time out to explain just what their findings mean for today's older people and what they could mean for those who will be older in the future.

The lecture takes place on Wednesday 9th July and doors open at 12:30pm, at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, Park Road, Oxford. Places are free of charge and operate on a first come, first served basis.

Programme: Why could a 400-year-old clam help you live to a healthy old age?  Do you have to choose between wrinkles and cancer?  Is ageing infectious and if so how do we catch it and can we cure it? Hear the answers to these and other questions at a public lecture on Wednesday 9th July from one of Britain's foremost experts on the ageing process.
