Age Concern and Help the Aged Trek China 2010 fundraising event
Judith Chalmers is calling on would-be walkers to sign up and take part in an exhilarating Oriental challenge with the Age Concern and Help the Aged Trek China 2010 fundraising event.
Taking place from 15th-23rd May 2010, Trek China offers adventurous trekkers the perfect opportunity to experience a diverse country rich in culture while raising vital funds to help disadvantaged older people in the UK and overseas. The event is open to everyone aged over 18 who is keen to get fit for a physical challenge and relishes the great outdoors.
Commenting on the event, Judith Chalmers said: 'Trek China 2010 provides a rare chance to take a break from everyday life and venture into the unknown, taking in world famous landmarks such as the Great Wall. I would recommend a visit to anyone – and the good news is the registration fee for trekkers is currently just £199, instead of £299!'
Miranda Harman, Event Fundraiser at Age Concern and Help the Aged added: 'The team at Age Concern and Help the Aged will ensure all our trekkers have the training and fundraising support they need, as well as tips and advice every step of the way.
'There are just a few places remaining on our 2010 Trek China event, so we’re advising anyone who is interested to find out more as soon as possible by contacting our Events Team on 020 7239 1922, via email at events@helptheaged.org.uk, or by visiting www.helptheaged.org.uk/events.'
