‘Two Left Feet and Dancing Queens’ : a reminiscence theatre show
‘Two Left Feet and Dancing Queens’ a reminiscence theatre show by The Dusty Flowers Theatre Group in co-operation with the Dalkey Community Unit for Older Persons will take place at the Samuel Beckett Theatre, Trinity College Dublin om May 31st at 3.30pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets are €3 for the 3.30pm performance and free for over 65s and €5 for all tickets for the 7.30pm show. Tickets can be bought on the door or by phone at (01) 896 2461(Box Office operates 11am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday)
It is part of the Bealtaine Festival 2010and was written and devised from real stories of older people interviewed in Dublin. Memories of the war, dances, songs, lives started and ended, are shaped by remembrance and celebrate a world that is no more, but remains in the memory of its witnesses.
